An Accounting

Parable of the Talents

There is an accounting that will happen at the end of our lives. The usage of our gifts and talents that we possess will be measured.

We must remember that what we have isn’t ours. Jesus has given us all these gifts, and we are to use it rightly, orderly and properly. The warning here is, if we don’t do that, it will be taken from us and given to others who have been fruitful.

Additionally, we must also not forget that we don’t deserve these gifts. Our lives belong to God. Whatever we have is totally God’s gift meant for a particular purpose in His kingdom.

When we see God at the end of our lives, what will we show Him? What will we tell Him we’ve done?
