Doors open and close at different points in our lives. An athlete who puts in the hours can find that doors to sporting success open further down the line. But we also face challenges which can (at least seem to) close doors.
The message in this week’s readings is that the most important door is open to those who open their own hearts and minds — anyone who really wants to love and be loved, need only let God into their lives to show them how to love.
It’s an amazing thing to have God in your life in such a profound way, to experience that growth. We were designed to feel that perfect love, and without it we are left broken.
