Global uprising as Occupy Wall Street Spreads International, Riots in Rome.

When the Tea Party spread across the nation, there were peaceful demonstrations brought together by everyday, freedom loving Americans. The Tea Party scared the living heck out of the Left in America. Mainstream media, which is dominated largely by leftist leaning ideologues, hated the idea of middle America and conservative groups uniting behind the banner of smaller government.

Socialists, the left, or how ever you want to call it, believe that larger government means better living conditions for the people. Entitlements, Social Security, Free Health Care, all of these things on their face sound nice. The problem is that the Government large enough to provide everything for its people, is powerful enough to do anything to its people. The left believes that the successful people in our Country (the meaning of which is somewhat ambiguous) owe something to everyone else.  Of course how many leftist millionaires in the media are willing to give more than they must?

The folks behind Occupy Wall Street, the guy occupying the White House and many of the elite media are claiming that the right, the tea party and corporate America are engaging in Class Warfare!

Well here it is; NONSENSE! They are doing what they are claiming the right is doing. By suggesting that people who work hard should some how be penalized so that others do not have to work hard is CLASS WARFARE!

So who is Occupy Wall Street and what do they believe?

Here is an excerpt from their “About Us” page from their website:

“OccupyWallSt.org is the unofficial de facto online resource for the ongoing protests happening on Wall Street. We are an affinity group committed to doing technical support work for resistance movements. We are not affiliated with Adbusters, anonymous or any other organization.

In a rather alarming statement, a press release from Occupy Wall Street states the following: “We, the people of the United States of America, considering the crisis at hand, now reassert our sovereign control of our land. Solidarity Forever!”

I’ll just state it bluntly, the misguided puppets marching through the streets may truly believe they are representing freedom and democracy.  But the people behind the banner of Occupy Wall Street have chosen for their symbol the communist fist!   Don’t believe me, here is a comparison:

What does the media say?
MSNBC is applauding Occupy Wall Street as true American heroes! Ed, from The Ed Show stated “THESE ARE TRUE MIDDLE CLASS AMERICANS!”

Wow…Really? My question is this; how many middle class Americans support communism? The middle class Americans I know are freedom loving patriots who thank God every night for the blessings of every day!

What does President Obama Say? “Occupy Wall Street” protests [are a] reflection of a “broad-based frustration about how our financial system works” Mr. Obama then pledged to continue fighting to protect American consumers. (1)
On the right, we believe that hard work, sacrifice and determination can bring individual success. Not everyone is going to be rich. But everyone can strive to do better for themselves and we can all work to leave behind a country and world that is better for our children.

So what are we dealing with?I’ll be honest. This feels like something right out of Revelations!

My Point?

The movement has spread globally and continues to gain traction.     While we in America support and encourage freedom of speech and demonstration; burning flags, public indecency and class warfare against people who have been successful is not what liberty is all about.  Granted, there are some crooks on Wall Street, just like there are crooked politicians, and crooked people in general.   Let justice take its course, either on earth or in Heaven.  But I say we stop ridiculing those who have achieved something through hard work and lets get to work finding a solution to fix our economy!

Tonight I am going to pray for all those influenced by hate and evil.   There are some good people marching to a drum that they do not understand.   Last, I will say that Charity is and always should be a major foundation of any moral society.   But there is a difference between charity, helping those in need and redistribution of what people have honestly earned.
