The Good Shepherd

I drew this picture for a woman I work with, Kwon. She has the greatest faith in Jesus that I’ve ever seen–simple, strong, and pure. I’ve never met anyone so much like Our Lady. Please pray for her; she had to go to the hospital yesterday because she hit her head. Thank you so much!

She focuses on religious art using pencils and charcoals, but tries many new things. You can check out more of her work at Drawing the Line. 1. Elaine, once again – Beautiful! The shadows/contour on Jesus’ face – well done! His expression leaves me thinking, this is how He sees each of us. He is so pleased to gaze upon us…it is almost as though He is contemplating His creation! Thank you for sharing! 😀

  2. It’s well-done, and I like that there’s a little bit of a story behind it. I assume that this is true of your other works too, but thanks for sharing some of the back-story on this one!
