  1. Do you line draw these first? One of the rules I was taught in watercolor was to let the colors speak the distinctions and not let the pencil line force itself into view which, if you used a pencil, you have succeeded in doing.

  2. (forgive me for taking a somewhat professional interest in your art) What type of watercolor do you use and what brand? I might have to put up some of my own stuff, although it’s architecture, not saints. A little friendly competition, yes?
