I love this, one of the few Madonna and Child pictures where the child looks like a real baby.
Watercolor, to quote my architecture professor, is a temperamental medium. I can attest that it is extremely difficult. It looks great though for first time. I’m just about to start my fourth semester with watercolor and I still struggle.
Rating for your artwork: 9.99 (out of 10). Excellent! You’ve got talent indeed. God bless you always. Amen.
Nice technic!
Beautiful. I agree with Barbara, the first thing I thought when I saw it was that the Infant Jesus looks like a real baby. Lovely, lovely, lovely.
But self-reflection is vital, and looking back at all of those life lessons has made Madonna realize that each child brings new knowledge.
